Member Herb Abrams burns off 71 pounds

“In September I hit my all time high of weight gain when I got on the scale to find out I was 306 lbs. I finally decided that I needed to do something about my weight and change my life. I committed myself to changing the way I eat and tracking my calories and working out three times a week in the fitness classes. The first month was difficult. I had a hard time with classes and had to modify many of the exercises but I always showed up and pushed through the tough workouts. I was sore for weeks and craved all the foods I had cut out of my diet but I kept showing up and working out. Slowly but surely the pounds started to come off. I became stronger and my endurance increased so that I was able to take more classes to where I now work out 5 days a week at Krav Maga. I am half way to my goal and I know I will make it especially with the help and encouragement of the staff and members at Krav Maga. I just remember to never give up and to keep fighting!”
