Law Enforcement Violence Control Course (STW-LE-VC)
This highly adaptable, high-intensity training focuses on enhancing law enforcement specific skills such as weapon retention, third-party protection, firearm disarms, knife threats & attacks, defenses against blunt objects, advanced arrest and control procedures, tactical handcuffing, room clearing, etc. We take full advantage of our exceptional facilities to provide hyper-realistic scenario training (bar/restaurant, vehicle fighting, pursuit and fighting in close quarters and in/around/over obstacles). These courses emphasize non-lethal response options to various threats and critical thinking in high-threat, high-stress scenarios.
Home Invasion Course Levels 1-2 (STW-HI-LVL1-2)
Home, office, apartment and hotel room invasions leading to burglary, abduction, rape or other violent assaults, are an unfortunate but increasing reality of modern life, both in the U.S. and while abroad. This training teaches students how to reduce their chances of becoming a target and how to defend themselves and their families if attacked, both while unarmed and with various weapons found inside the building. The advanced course includes use of live-fire UTM training rounds and the development of a tailored plan based on the student’s actual residence or workplace.
Anti-Kidnapping Course Levels 1-2 (STW-AK-LVL1)
These 5-day (40 hours) courses are designed for law enforcement, military, and civilian personnel who operate in areas with high-risk for abduction attempts. The core is 26 hours of intensive, realistic Krav Maga training based on data-driven, real world scenarios. In Level 2, the students receive advanced training in use of human weapons (head, hands, elbows, knees, legs) and incorporate the carry and close-quarters use of handguns as well. The students are armed during the high-stress training scenarios with Glock pistols modified to fire UTM rounds (both blanks and man-marking wax tipped rounds). Training can be conducted while wearing a full tactical load to provide experience with the weight and bulk worn in Law Enforcement and military tactical operational situations. We conduct video reviews of the training and provide an end-of-course DVD of the training to the unit. The Level 1 Krav Maga training is complemented by classroom and practical instruction on kidnapping statistics, kidnapper modus operandi, situational awareness, demeanor, operational mindset, critical decision making under stress, and vehicle bailout procedures when threatened or under fire. Level 2 classroom instruction focuses on effective concealed carry techniques, shooting fundamentals from concealed carry, and threat assessment principles.
Anti-Terrorism Level (STW-AT-LVL)
This 28-hour block is designed for anyone traveling and operating in high-threat areas, both in the U.S. and overseas, regardless of hostile or permissive environment. It trains the individual to make critical decisions and execute responses based on scenarios from their computer based AT-Level 1. Role players, threats and non-threats are introduced into the students’ environment and they must choose appropriate responses and act accordingly.
Pattern of Life (STW-POL-LVL1)
This 1-day seminar outlines vulnerabilities associated with daily routine; going to the office, grocery store, the mall, gas station, home, and browsing on the internet. We reveal how every day, common activities and behaviors can highlight an individual as a potential target, and how they can be modified to reduce the chances of becoming a victim.
Situational Awareness (STW-SA-LVL1)
This 1-day seminar increases sensitivity to the tell-tale signs that indicate potential threats in our daily environments. The course is taught by military and law enforcement professionals who have relied on these principles and techniques during decades of real world operational missions. Our training is founded on institutional standards and trust of one’s own instincts. The training focuses on enhanced awareness during everyday scenarios: on the street, in a store or parking lot, at an ATM, or during travel.
Intermediate Handgun Tactics (STW-IHT-LVL2)
This course is open for Texas CHL holders and Law Enforcement Officers; it is the “what’s next” for intermediate shooters. The course is scenario based and includes force-on-force (UTM man-marking rounds) that pit the criminal instinct against your personal skills. Not every situation is a shoot situation and it’s up to you to judge the level of force required. Participants must be Krav Maga Students and/or Law Enforcement members.
Advanced Handgun Tactics (STW-AHT-LVL3)
This is the culminating event in self-survival for those licensed to carry a handgun. Scenarios focus on handgun licensees involved in close-quarter shooting situations, from confined spaces such as vehicles, buses, or within 3 feet of the threat. It applies the critical decision-making process and puts your shooting skills to the test in man-on-man events.
Urban Tactics (STW-UTS-LVL1-3)
This three-part series teaches skills normally associated with Military Operators and Law Enforcement Special Teams and modifies them for successful use by civilians at high-risk for dangerous situations during personal or professional activities. These are unique skill sets that demand on-the-spot decision making and aggressive responses to various threats in order to increase self-preservation and to protect family, friends and colleagues.
Tactical Athlete Training (STW-TA-LVL1-Infinity)
Krav Maga practitioners have known for a long time that “Training like you fight” requires building a fitness foundation that mimics operational activities and develops strength, stamina and toughness for the challenges faced in the real world. This whole-body, high intensity fitness training will take you to a new level of mental and physical preparedness. As fitness levels improve, training is conducted in simulated and real tactical gear so officers can perform at high levels while encumbered by the bulk and weight they carry on duty. Train-the-trainer options are available.
