You’ve given thanks. You consumed cranberry sauce. Now you want a good workout to get everything back in balance. You’re in luck. Pete’s 6th Annual Birthday workout is only two days after Thanksgiving! This year the annual STW tradition begins at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, November 28. Come prepared for the real deal. Two hours of pushing it to the limit in three rooms. It’s a day to show yourself that you’re not just getting older–you’re getting BETTER!

Women-only seminar was HUGE success

Well over a hundred women participated in last Saturday’s sexual assault defense seminar! In an intense 3-hour seminar (no, make that 4+ hours) the participants learned how exactly what to do when their life is on the line. They laughed, cried, yelled, and jumped for joy as they discovered they now possess the skills and confidence they need to defend themselves. Participants had to fight their way out of simulated attacks. We had instructors in three full-body attack suits challenging the participants in realistic situations: while making a withdrawal at an automated teller machine ....

The family and friends of Kava Maga would like to extend a warm welcome back to Edie Davis.  For all of you that don’t know Edie, she’s a retired United States Air Force veteran and served in OPERATION Iraqi Freedom. Her civilian education includes an Associate of Applied Science in Health Care Management and a Bachelors of Science in Human Services.
